I am honoured to participate in “25th edition Sharjah Islamic Art Festival. KAZ SHIRANE made his fourth appearance at the Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival to reveal Hand in Hand, a captivating interactive sculpture designed in collaboration with US-based architect Diana Nee. Nestled within the scenic surroundings of the Khorfakkan Amphitheater in the UAE, this installation seamlessly blends artistic expression with architectural ingenuity, serving as a testament to creativity, connectivity, and community engagement.

The creation of a sculpture trail in the Bois de la Cambre is a project of the Boghossian Foundation. The project was carried out in collaboration with Urban. Brussels and the City of Brussels for a period of one year. KAZ SHIRANE thanks them for their support!

KAZ SHIRANE participates in the exhibition, a part of Venice Biennale Art Exhibition, “PERSONAL STRUCTURES” organized by European Culture Center. His new artwork is displayed at GIARDINI DELLA MARINARESSA.  Through this artwork, Kaz Shirane would like to present a new vision in which the artist does not control and decide everything, but completes the work in dialogue with nature. This project was supported by Pola Art Foundation, Yoshino Gypsum Art Foundation, Union Foundation, Nomura Foundation and Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture.

2020/Sep/09 – 2021

I am honoured to present the Excalibur Superbia, the result of my collaboration with Roger Dubuis.
It brings my art into the world of Haute Horlogerie. The elaborate craftsmanship required by setting the stones on curved shapes allows the watch to catch the light as it would do in one of my installations. It can be noticed even from afar. To me, the Superbia is like a “time machine” that can take the user to an extraordinary world in an instant, which is what I want to achieve with my artworks.

KAZ brings a brand NEW wall for HEARST BEAUTY FESTIVAL 2018 that is the only one-day event in Tokyo. It focuses on “Beauty” and its theme of this year is a kaleidoscope. HEARST Fujingahou is one of the most famous publishing company in Japan. They are an only publishing company that has American, French and Japanese DNA magazines such as “ELLE” and so on.
